Major Banned Naxal Outfits

Under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, the government of India has banned the   Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist)-People's War - all its formations and front organisations and the Maoist Communist Centre (MCC) - all its formations and front organizations.

The State governments have also banned the Naxal related organisations.

Andhra Pradesh

CPI (Maoist) and seven of its frontal organizations- the Radical Youth League, the Rythu Coolie Sangham, the Radical Students' Union, the Singareni Karmika Samakhya, the Viplava Karmika Samakhya, the All-India Revolutionary Students' Federation and the Revolutionary Writers' Association (RWA).

Communist Party of India (Maoist) and five other organizations - Dandakaranya Kishan Adivashi Mazdoor Sangh, Krantikari Adivasi Mahila Sangh, Krantikari Adivasi Balak Sangh, Krantikari Kisan committee and Mahila Mukti Manch.
